Preschool marks an important period of transition for children as they begin to leave the narrow boundaries of their home and immediate family to explore the broader world of school and community. Throughout this academic year, we will help your child to acquire the ability to work and play cooperatively with their classmates; to follow school routines and instructions; to respect his\/her teachers, peers and classroom; to adapt to separation from home; and to thrive and find joy in a new environment. Most importantly, we will help them have fun while learning! Adjusting socially and emotionally is very necessary before a child is ready for more formal instruction. In addition to exploring early academic skills, our youngest learners will focus on social\/emotional learning throughout the school year.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
